One of the best things about Marvel movies is seeing translated comic book costumes on screen. Many heroes have undergone makeovers and transitions when it comes to their costumes, most recently Tom Holland’s Spider-Man. However, another Avenger, or possibly an ex-Avenger, has also had a ton of different variations on her costumes over the years: Wanda Maximoff, now known as Scarlet Witch.

The Scarlet Witch has seen many costumes in her six main appearances in the MCU, and while ranking one of the original female hero costumes among all characters might seem like a step backwards for feminism, her costumes are so well-made that they need to be admired!

5. “Captain America: Civil War”, “Avengers: Infinity War” and “Avengers: Endgame”

After further research, I realized that Wanda had the same costume (or a very similar costume) in Civil war, Infinity Warand End of Game. Now, that’s not a bad costume, but it’s just not very practical. Elizabeth Olsen even said she wasn’t a fan because of the cleavage in the corset. Although it’s a cute outfit and looks good, it must not be easy to fight crime. What if there was a wardrobe malfunction? That’s why this costume has to be the worst, simply because of its lack of practicality.

4. Classic ‘WandaVision’

While this outfit is adorable and reminiscent of the classic comic book costume, it’s also very impractical and only shows up for a short time. It’s used as a Halloween costume, which was a nice way to incorporate it without Olsen feeling too uncomfortable doing stunts in such a small bodysuit, even with the tights on. The comic version shows a lot more skin and while it works on the page, the real people are very different. It’s also the first time we’ve seen Wanda wearing the Scarlet Witch headband, which was exciting for many fans, so while it holds a special place in our hearts, it’s still not practical enough to be at. Mountain peak.

3. “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness”

Now officially the Scarlet Witch, we see Wanda go through a transformation from hero to lost soul to official villain in Multiverse of Madness. This costume shows that with the long, flowing train and the leather, it’s obvious she’s not the easily manipulated teenager we first met. Age of Ultron. Plus, we have to say how amazing the new headband is – it’s a fresh take on the comic book classic and it works really well to tie it all together.

2. “Avengers: Age of Ultron”

A controversial choice, I know, but it’s just so classic and logical for her character at this point. She’s a teenager who’s been through hell and back, so seeing her in a simple black dress and red jacket makes sense. It still hints at who she’ll eventually become with the color palette, but it’s a simplistic style that’s both age-appropriate and easy to battle. She gives off both hero and villain vibes, which is what we get with her in Age of Ultronand it’s really just a nice and easy costume, which is sometimes among the best.

1. Final “WandaVision”

This costume was everything and more. When revealed in Wanda VisionIn the finale, audiences went nuts as Wanda was finally, officially, the Scarlet Witch. From the helmet to the gloves to the leggings, it all flowed into a beautiful ensemble that any big hero (or villain to come) would look great in. He was giving off the right vibes for his final fight with Agatha and seemed quite comfortable and conservative. where Olsen didn’t have to worry about malfunctions. This is the perfect costume and I wish I could have seen more.
