The producers of the upcoming One Piece Film Red unveil an elaborate new set of costumes for Luffy, Sanji, Nami, and the rest of the Straw Hat team.
The Straw Hat Pirates will get another new set of costumes in the upcoming One Piece Movie: Red.
As revealed by Mantan Web, Monkey D. Luffy and his crew will all get new looks in the latest A play movie. These new designs will be the second set of new costumes the infamous pirate crew will put on in the film: another set of new clothes, which featured a more laid-back holiday theme, was unveiled at the last Jump Festa convention. Unlike previously revealed costumes, the new designs feature much more elaborate and intricate outfits for the crew as they adopt more traditional pirate gear, including new tricorn hats for Luffy and Nami, and thick naval cloaks for Sanji and Jinbe.

One Piece Movie: Red is the 15th theatrical release in the long-running series. Creator Eiichiro Oda is overseeing the production of the new film. Oda previously revealed that the idea for the film was born out of his desire to add a new female character to the story, stating, “I’m sick of drawing legendary old grandfathers in movies! I want to draw a new little female character! want to do now! And that’s how it started. The script for the new film is written by Tsutomu Kuroiwa, who previously wrote One Piece Movie: Gold. The new film is directed by Code Geass‘Goro Taniguchi.
