Bollywood star Akshay Kumar reveals how he wore 6kg suits to star in ‘Prithviraj’.
Akshay came to promote his film with co-actor Manushi Chhillar and director Chandraprakash Dwivedi. He tells how he had to wear heavy clothes, but no heavier than the actual clothes worn by real warriors in history.

The actor says: “The clothes I wore in ‘Prithviraj’ weighed around 5-6 or 4-5 kilos. Yet the real warriors of our past, Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan, Shivaji Maharaj, would wear clothes that weighed around 35-40 pounds.”

“On top of that, they carried these big swords. They were the real warriors. And they fought wearing heavy clothes,” he adds.
